Truffles and Fine Wine Dinner, October 26, 2014, 1:00-5:00

Wine Director, Celeste Borel, and sommelier Christian Borel are raiding the cellar!  Executive Chef, Joseph Watters is celebrating the treasured tubers, those mysterious pungent truffles.  In this lavish truffle scented fall feast we will welcome fall with beautiful Black Burgundy Truffles, White Alba Truffles from the Piedmont of Northern Italy and White Hungarian Honey Truffles.  Jean Brillat Savarin called truffles “the diamond of the kitchen” and you will agree when you enjoy this feast featuring beautiful Burgundy wines, vintage Bordeaux, and lovely Madeiras from our Wine Spectator award winning cellar. During this time it has been said it is wise to enjoy these treasures as often as time and one’s wallet allows. Customers are proclaiming these wine dinners as the best in the region.  Grab some friends, hop over the mountain and join us for a glorious Autumn afternoon of fine food, fine wine, and great conversation. 3rd Annual Linden and RdV Vineyards Fall Crush Wine Dinner

Saturday, November 8 and Sunday November 9, 2014,  1:00-5:00

The harvest  is over and a fine vintage year it has been, here, in Virginia Wine Country.  The grapes are harvested, crushed and are awaiting bottling.  It is time to enjoy the fruits of these fine vineyards labors.  La Table Provencale at L’Auberge Provencale is hosting our 3rd annual Virginia Wine Crush dinner featuring the great wines of Linden and RdV Vineyards.  Starting with our meet and greet at 1:00, we will be serving a farm to table menu featuring the best of the fall local products paired with the wines of these two top Virginia Vineyards.  Winemakers, Jim Law and         Rutger De Vink will be on hand to explain their philosophy, this years vintage, history and wine making methods.  These afternoons prove to be so popular we suggest you make your reservations early to attend this spectacular event.

Delicious Turkey DinnerThanksgiving in Provence, Thursday, November 27, 2014, 1:00-7:00

Join us for a bountiful feast featuring farm to table cuisine with your family and friends for a stress-free holiday! The holidays are fast approaching, and what a perfect way to begin the holiday season.  Join us for an afternoon of Christmas traditions from the South of France.  Our holiday wine dinner will feature traditional, regional fare from the South of France with the modern touches of Executive Chef, Joseph Watters.  Wine expert Jason Bise of the Country Vintner will be on hand once again and I am sure all of you will welcome him back to our Sunday wine dinners.  Wines from Gigondas, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the Rhone and Provence will be featured.  Our halls will be decked, and the fires will be crackling, the warmth of the season, with family and friends of the inn will be on hand that day.  Join us in celebrating the end of the year, new beginnings and joy of the season.

Announcing our New Sunday Brunch, Served each Sunday from 11:30-2:30

Hop over the mountain and enjoy the beautiful Shenandoah Valley at La Table Provencale restaurant each Sunday for our new Sunday Brunch. The inn will be serving a welcoming, Mimosa and Bloody Mary  each Sunday with our Farm to Table Sunday Brunch. The Brunch cost is $48 per person. The brunch menu created by Executive Chef Joseph Watters features the fresh and best of the seasons.
